In the State of Florida, a Notary Public, is a public officer appointed by the governor of the state to take acknowledgements, administer oaths, , attest to photocopies of certain documents, solemnize marriage and perform other duties specified by law.

 

A Notary may only perform a notarial act upon receipt of satisfactory proof identify (i.e. driver's license or other from of identification card), or by the notary's own personal knowledge of the perosn appearing before htem , or upon the swon statement of 2 witnesses who personally know the person whose signature is to be authenticated.

REMOTE ONLINE NOTARIZATION

 

A remote online notary, or RON, is a commissioned notary public who is authorized to provide notary services online via audio-video services that meet the requirement of the states administrative code. While many believe electronic notarization is the same as remote online notarization, they are very different. Althought electronic notarization involved documents being signed in an electronic format, it still requires both the notary and individual seeking notarization to be physically present. Remote online notarization is done 100% online, neaning neither party has to be in the physical presence of the other.

 

How Does Online Notarization Work?

 

Upload your document to the secure server,  follow the prompt for our ID analysis and robust identity authentication process. Finally meet with me, your commissioned notary public in a live video meeting to review, sign, and complete the notariztion process for your document(s). This includes the notary signing and attaching my seal to the document. After the approximate 10 minute process is completed, your document will be available for download.

What Is The Identity Verification Process?

The platform utilizes two-point identification processes which incorporates knowledge-based identification or biometrics scanning with live credential evaluation. Biometric forensic analysis performs facial scans in tandem with ID scanning. Knowledge-based identification (KBA) uses a series of 5 personal questions to verify the signer's identity, credential verification, and electronic analysis of the signers's phsyical ID to confirm their identify.
